Does anybody have...

We are still so excited that our community reached the amazing goal of $25,000 raised in our Booster fundraiser! Mrs DuPuis and Mr Krause promised the students that they would ride tricycles around school if this happened. The issue is... we don’t have any! Does anybody have a tricycle or two that they could lend for a day sometime soon? Please email board@springtrailpto.org if you can help!

PTO Meeting

Our April PTO meeting will be on April 8 in the Commons at 6:30pm. We will be voting in our Board for 2025-2026! We will also be planning end of the year events. Children are welcome to attend with their own quiet entertainment.

April Dineout

Our dineout event for April will be on April 16 at Beef Shack in Bartlett (30W100 Army Trail Rd). Order any time 10:30 am-9:00 pm and mention Spring Trail or show this flyer on your phone. Unfortunately, online orders do NOT count toward our total for this event, so please make sure to order in person!

Penny Wars

Start checking between those couch cushions, and get the kiddos to clean out the car! One of our students’ favorite competitions is coming up: it’s Penny Wars! The week of April 21, there will be a table out front of the school with buckets for each grade. Pennies and paper cash will earn your grade positive points. Silver coins (quarters, dimes, nickels) are used to SABOTAGE other grades - they are worth negative points! Scores will be announced at the end of the day each day, with a winning grade voting Friday April 25 on a charity that will receive half of what is brought in. The other half is used to support our Battle of the Books program. This is a fun and exciting time of year!

Staff Appreciation

Staff Appreciation Week is May 5-9 and planning is going strong! There will be days that week where we need volunteers to pick up items from restaurants to bring in to school, and to help set up special things in the teacher’s lounge. Also to help clean them up at the end of the day! Please email board@springtrailpto.org if you might be able to assist with these tasks. There will be an official sign up in our next newsletter.

Chess Scholars

Have a kiddo that enjoyed the first session of Chess Scholars? How about one who missed out and wishes they could have joined in the fun? After Spring Break there will be a second session starting! It takes place Wednesdays 2:35-3:35, April 7-May 21. You can sign up with code STL4.9.25 at www.learningmeansfun.com/signup to get in on the good times!
