Glow Run
We are blown away at the community response to our MyBooster fundraising effort! Thank you all for your continued support as we earn money to put a double slide at our “orange park” as well as cover our typical operating costs and budget items. A few questions that we would like to answer:
The Glow Run event will take place during school hours on Wednesday March 5. Each grade will participate as a group for 40 minutes. All students will join in regardless of if they are able to fundraise or not - this is meant to be fun for all!
Follow this link to see the MyBooster prize flyer. There has been some confusion about how to earn certain items. Each is calculated based on completing a 30 lap event, so the “per unit” cost times 30 gives you the flat price you need to raise in order to earn that item.
We are able to accept cash or check donations toward the fundraiser as well as the ones processed through the MyBooster website. Please have your child bring those in an envelope marked with their name and drop them in the PTO Dropbox outside the office door and we will add them to their MyBooster account.

Scholastic Book Fair
Our Spring book fair is next week! This will be a full-week event including two visits per class during school hours. Students will visit on Monday or Tuesday to create a wishlist to bring home, then visit again Thursday or Friday to shop if you choose to send them with funds to do so. We will also have an evening event for shopping with your student on Tuesday, March 4, 4:30-6:30. Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, family friends, older siblings, younger siblings, are all welcome to attend! It is a busy evening and we only sell the fun pens and gadgets you remember from Scholastic at this time!

Scholastic offers a program called eWallet that we prefer over other options for student payments(We can also accept checks to Spring Trail PTO or cards - NO CASH). You can create your student’s account at our Book Fair homepage. eWallets are good for only one Book Fair and the funds are nonrefundable but stay in the Scholastic system for future use. eWallets with less than $1 left at the end of the Spring Fair will be donated to the Share the Fair program which purchases books for the entire student body. If you had funds unspent after last year’s Book Fair, please make sure to use the same account to create this year’s eWallet; those funds should then appear as an eGift Card that can be applied to the new eWallet. The Scholastic Book Fair website is also where you can find information on our virtual Book Fair for items you don’t find in person, and check in on the fun book trailers and flyers from Scholastic!
March PTO Meeting
Our next PTO meeting will be March 11! We will be discussing how our Booster fundraiser and Book Fair went, getting updates on school supply kits, and diving into planning Staff Appreciation Week for early May. We hope you can join us! Children are always welcome, just please bring their own quiet activities.
Chipotle Dineout
Our dineout event this month will be on March 19 at Chipotle in Bloomingdale (394 W Army Trail Rd) from 4 pm to 8 pm. Please show the attached flyer (on your phone is fine) or order online using code VR6YYAG to ensure we get credit for your order! Enjoy your dinner and thank you for your continued support.
